STUDY VISITS

Our teacher study visits offer professional development for educators wishing to learn from and about India.

These CPD programmes enable teachers and educators to gather information and teaching resource ideas to use and share on their return to their schools. Each study visit has a specific subject theme, developed to suit the key stage and curriculum requirements of the participants.

  • These journeys are for teachers and educators wishing to expand their experience and understanding of India’s human and physial geography, and its changing cultural context.

  • Past visits have focussed on: Geography, History, Knowledge and Understanding of the World, Religious Education, Citizenship, Sustainable development, Music, Art, Science and Geographical Enquiry Skills.

Each focus area is looked at from the perspective of the local Indian context, and then we organise ivisits to schools, and cultural excursions to develop understanding through first hand experience.
